Walk for fun. Walk for life. - Photo Shoot

Thanks to everyone who wished us well in our car shopping adventure.  We have not purchased a car yet, but we have purchased a bright red leather couch.
I feel like such an adult.
We also bought an ottoman and a coffee table.  Pictures to follow.
I never knew I was this domestic.

This past weekend, we participated in the annual Liver Life Walk for the American Liver Foundation.  My team raised $570.00.  It was a super hot day to walk a 5K, but it was such a beautiful location that we didn't even care.


Not too shabby for spending an entire day outside in 90-degree weather, right?


Before the walk, I doused myself in SPF 50.  It pays to have a super pale redhead in your life.  He introduced me to the joys of ultra-strong sunblock, and I have never looked back.

Oh, look -- Now I am on top of the playground.
Seriously, I have a climbing addiction.


After this photo was taken, I literally jumped from the top of the playground structure to the ground.  Contrary to what you may believe, ballet flats do not provide the kind of support that is necessary for such impact.  It was a big mistake -- but it was fun.
