A Coat-Free January is the Way to Be -- Photo Shoot

This has been a weird January. 
Saturday's temperature was 53 degrees. 
Friday's temperature was 70 degrees. 
Is this really wintertime?
I'm not complaining.  Really.  The warmer temperatures just mean less time that I have to wear a heavy coat on a photo shoot.
Mr. A and I took advantage of the nice day and took pictures at the gardens on my university's campus again.  We were here in November, but there are so many awesome places here that we could spend the next two months in the same location and never run out of shots.



Funny story: I was telling Mr. A about why I don't go into furniture stores because I am afraid that I will begin obsessing over how badly I want to redecorate my room since it now resembles a 16-year-old girl's.  It was a long diatribe, and I was talking super fast, but I figured that he would get most of it since we have been together for two years -- he's used to it.  So I'm talkingtalkingtalking for a few minutes.  When I finally stopped, he said, "I got lost when you started talking.  What?" ... Never mind.


Mr. A's photography skills are reaching a kick-ass level.  I love that he shot this from between the trees.


I was telling him, "DON'T GET MY SOCKS IN THE SHOT," because I was wearing some plain white Adidas socks that totally didn't match my outfit.



"Babe, watch me climb these rocks like a boss in heels!"
Ten minutes later ... "Babe, I'm stuck."


You know those movie stills that showcase the bad-ass female standing in some killer position before she beats up the bad guys?  The above shot could so be that movie still.


In case you are wondering, this is how I look on a regular basis -- goofy, laughing, and dorky.

  84. that second to last photo could definitely be a bad ass chic movie still. The only thing you`d need to make the look complete is some explosions and fire in the background. You should go on picnik.com and see if you can create some effect like that for fun, or mr.a could do it. love the name mr.a, sounds like some dr.evil movie character ;)
